Thinking about selling?
We are a full-service REALTOR® team. The REALTOR identifier means we have agreed to abide by the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the National Association of REALTORS®. We will not only always be completely honest with you but we will make sure that we have the same vision for the sale of your home and are on the same page throughout the process.
The selling process.
When you partner with us to sell your home, we offer additional complimentary services such as interior staging consultation, easy paperless contracts, professional photographs, and introductions to preferred partners as needed. Here’s what you can expect when working with us.
1. Team up.
We will kick things off with a meeting at your home to tour and discuss your property, as well as any questions or concerns you may have. At that point, we will ask you to sign an agreement that will make the Bridge to Portland Group your official listing agent.
2. Strategize and list.
With the help of our wide network of contacts, we will research the local market and comparable local properties in order to advise you on the best listing price. Once the price is determined, we will present you with a concise marketing and rollout strategy.
3. Home preparations.
Together, we will spend time looking for what needs to be repaired in preparation for your home sale. In most cases this could include deep cleaning, removing personalized effects, and in some cases staging – of course, all dependent on your goals.
4. Offers and negotiations.
When an offer comes in, we will negotiate on your behalf for the best possible sale. Once a purchase agreement is established, we will enter into escrow, wherein we order a title report, conduct an appraisal and inspection, and await close and move dates.
5. Reviews and inspections.
The buyer’s prospective lender will often require a property appraisal. In most cases, a property inspection is also part of the purchase agreement contingency. Once all contingencies are met, we will be sure to ask the buyer to lift contingencies in writing.
6. Closing the deal.
Before the closing meeting, we will walk you through all the documentation you will be asked to review and sign at that time, we will answer any questions you may have. Once everything is signed and verified by all parties, the property has officially been sold.
“Beth has helped us buy and sell several homes. Every house we sold was bought in days. Beth is always very professional, organized, and knowledgeable. She is a delight to work with. I wouldn't consider working with any other realtor.”
